Step back in time aboard the Midwest’s most unique and historic riverboat as it travels the Illinois River valley between Peoria and the “Gateway to the West,”—Saint Louis, MO. The Spirit of Peoria is a full-blown replica of the nineteenth century riverboats that inhabited the nation’s waterways. Decorated in the “wedding cake” style, the Spirit mirrors a Mark Twain era riverboat, complete with an enormous 21-foot diameter paddle wheel, which believe it or not, is the only source of propulsion!
Like our 3-day/2-night cruise to Saint Louis, this cruise features four lock and dam experiences; the Peoria and LaGrange on the Illinois River and the Mel Price and Chain of Rocks on the Mississippi River.
The first stop will be Meredosia, IL with an overnight stay in Jacksonville, IL. Night two along with dinner will be in Grafton, IL at the Pere Marquette Lodge. Your third evening will be in downtown Saint Louis. The hotel is just blocks from Union Station where you will get a guided tour. The following morning you will get a chance to tour the Gateway Arch and museum before boarding the boat for Grafton. You will overnight again at the Pere Marquette Lodge. The following morning you will board the boat for the quaint town of Florence, IL.
A motor coach will provide transportation back to Peoria.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 45 days prior to the date of your trip you will receive a full refund. If you cancel between 22 to 44 days of your trip you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel within 21 days of your trip you will receive no refund.
